I liked driving the focus rally car in the snow in chamonix. That was brilliant. Felt amazing with a ffb wheel. Too much effort needed to unlock everything though for me.

It would be perfectly fine with me if PD is going to take things out of GT6 but is bringing a more focused experience. I wouldn't mind if they chop Nascar and kart. I do kind of dig Rally, its 60fps goodness and sometimes closest to classic Sega Rally.

They can also go with about 400 cars, I've no need for 1000. As long as they're being equally treated. And I personally don't like starting in a Toyota Yaris. The SP, well, I doubt ANYONE liked the pick up truck or Vitz races? Kill that **** off. And upgrade the engine sounds, I still don't like them in GT.

The online and menu structure should be handled by a western team such as Evolution or the Wipeout guys.

I wouldn't put it past them to cram another GT game into the PS3, but it would look and feel like GTv5.5, a bit like Forza 4 actually being v3.5.

I've never had a problem with the amount of content or the variety of events. As FSW mentions though its the constant grinding that kills it stone dead and makes it feel like a dinosaur.

My personal preference is to make the game more of a racing game, not a driving sim. Its only considered a driving sim because of the handling model, you are still in-effect racing against other cars! The offline competetion is totally lacking, and the online mode is designed by a team who know nothing about how an online game operates!

You know all of this thread is immeterial anyway, since when did Yamauchi give a toss what anyone else thinks!!

Looking for something for your PS Vita? Here are some perfect titles, including genres such as shooters, role-playing games, platformers, and action games.

The recent SCE questionnaire hinted at GT6 on PS3 and Vita. No evidence though.

Gran Turismo has launched on Android and has sold over 100,000 copies in its first day on sale!

Of course it's not the real GT, a rip-off instead that Sony might be interested in

Meanwhile, fans quizzed the developer on the potential for a PS Vita version of Gran Turismo. Yamauchi replied: "If we were to make it, we'd like to make use of the ability to play anywhere and the ability to use 3G at any time."
What? Why would you make a Vita game that you couldn't play anywhere? "No mains power detected - Game disabled"

If I ever make my own car I'd like to make it possible for it to be driven around and for people to be able to open and close the doors.

According to Magicbox's newsfeed, Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida has stated that the first details on Gran Turismo 6 will be revealed soon suggesting we're either going to find out something on the next Playstation sooner rather than later or that GT6 might actually be for PS3

Sony VP Mentions Gran Turismo 6 as PS3 Game

SCEE Michael Denny: "Look at the games coming out for PS3 like The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, GT6"
Sony's making a new Gran Turismo game. Given the years of silence on the sequel, we just assumed it would be on the newly announced PS4. But, could Sony have other plans?

Must say I am a little surprised. I thought they'd be moving the series along to the PS4 asap.

I'm surprised too but when you think that GT5 was released in 2010, Polyphony have had to have been up to something.

Considering how much I'm still playing and enjoying GT5, I'll be up for another game on this generations hardware.

Be nice to see it on the PS3, but hand on heart can't see it. Three years between GT game releases, hasn't happened this century has it....

Saying that, a full blown game on the PS3, with a HD teaser game on PS4 like they did on the PS3, with a full game once the devs have got a proper handle on the PS4?

Anyone else tried one of the hybrid GT5 cars? 10,000 BHP Red Bull takes some handling.......

Maybe this will be PS3 and 4? I would expect 4 would just have slightly nicer graphics and maybe some bonus content? Seems to be the thing to do at the moment with Diablo and Destiny doing the same.

Having sunk several hours into GT5 now, I feel they need to kill the series or fully rebuild it. I can't see this being a rebuild.

GT6 should be on the PS3 as it deserves at one decent version of it. GT5 is still a 7/10 game, very rough round the edges and lacking in most areas.
