Eurogamer have put up a long video of the menus etc on this page. All looks pretty sleek and tweaked. Review embargo is until launch day at 8am they say, he also says at the end of the video that microtransactions don't seem anywhere near as in your face as Forza and aren't prompted for so far in game.

I'll go with the standard edition. 15th Anniversary one looks nice, but the extra ?15 is a bit too much for 20 extra cars and one million in game credits.

Can any credits be passed over from Gran Turismo 5 (like was possible with the previous upgrade from GT4 to GT5) has it been announced?

EDIT: It's ?40 at Amazon, with ten free cars and one million credits. I'll go for this one.

More and more info on the game on GTPlanet in the last couple of days, anyone that took part in the GT Academy thing in the summer will also have that Nissan as a car gifted to them in GT6. Really can't wait for it now.

Indeed they do. I wish there was a better demo as I really enjoyed the challenge of the GT academy but want to play it more. The handling model felt so good in the 370z and the trailers on TV look amazing.

To be fair apparently the in game economy is exactly the same as in GT5. You are also never invited to buy credits so from that point of view it's nowhere near as egregious as Forza's. However, IMO it shouldn't even be in there, just as it shouldn't have been in the first Tiger Woods game that had this ****. Earn the good stuff by playing and getting better at the game. That's what makes it a game. FFS it's not difficult. Greedy bastards.

Yeah was just going to post this, pricing on Amazon. Thing is after a few weeks on GT5 I was always spending credits so didn't lose them when hitting the CR ceiling (which was twenty million? can't remember now).
Feel this is really aimed at the early part of the game and the lazy who don't want to play the game properly which I can live with.
