Professionals go with Grass

Grass are the ones that level up fastest, fire Pokemon require the dedication only professionals put in. Particularly true in red/blue where the first 2 gyms are rock and water!

To be totally honest, at first, I just chose what I thought was the cutest Osha' (as he is now nicknamed), looked like a helpless dwarven panda who had been slung out by his parents for wetting the bed too much.

At the moment, I'm concentrating on raising him and Pansear.

Water FTW, ive got a Dewott now and getting my Pansear named Pansear BigEars raised to kick some @$$, just got my 2nd badge in Nacrene City.

I think oshawatt is considered the most challenging one to start with and tepig is considered the easiest to start with becuase a lot of the starting enemies re grass types
