Also are SNKP making profit on this directly? Or is it just through licensing? I'd hope they do so they can go back to making some new killer games for this and maybe PSN/XBLA. I'd love to see a new Metal Slug and Garou 2...

It's made by Blaze, so the money will be going to them and they will pay SNK a licensing fee. I imagine. But hey maybe Blaze will make Garou 2.

Hmm, dont think I'd go that far, biggest criticism seems to be that the dock feels cheap (which is subjective anyway) emulation seems to be spot on, according to some random guy on the Internet admittedly, and the stick and joystick are apparently great. I'm still optimistic, but I've never had a home system to compare it to, so hey ho.

I wouldn't, everything SNKP have done has been a disgrace to the legacy.

I don't want to become a detractor of the X, but the image of it running on the CRT looks awful.

(Though I may be spoiled by the fact my AES runs in crisp RGB, which this obviously doesn't)

I don't think anyone sees this as a Neo Geo replacement - just a novelty item for us collectors!! That's all it is to me anyway!!
