Well, the suggestion seems to be 'oh god, it's Blaze all over again and we know what THEY'RE like' when in fact this is tat produced by an entirely different company.

It doesn't make the unit any better, but it's not because of any association with Blaze that it's not up to much.

Those of you who have one - I'm curious as to how many of you received the 337 version with the micro sd card inside, or the 370 version? Mine is a 370, so I have my fingers crossed that someone comes up with a way to play more games

'They' are still working on it. There is a way to replace roms on systems running 337 firmware, but it involves opening up the handheld and it certainly isn't a user friendly method. As I said its being worked on and progress is slow but steady. Meanwhile mine is sitting in a parcelforce depot somewhere..hmm.

You're saying that as if it would be the only console capable of it. There's umpteen handhelds out there capable of the same, and since at the moment the X isn't even properly emulating the one system it's supposed to, I doubt the open source console fans are much fussed about it.

Let's get one thing straight, I can't stand Luke Morse, but I doubt if he was that much of a snob about NEO-GEO he'd have bothered buying the system in the first place. I've had hands on with one of these now, and would have to say they are average at best and i'm very glad I didn't pay for one. As i've said before, a massive missed opportunity.

to be honest i havent played mine but will give it a shot

the only opinion on Neo Geo here i would trust would be mine (almost complete collection except maruko a few years back) or Ikobo, who's opinion is probably more current, so he would be the person i most trust

sho in the grand scheme of things doesnt really own that much Neo Geo stuff (AES/MVS) mostly hyper if i remember correctly
