2006/2007 myself, although you're talking to ikobo.

Not to mention Xbox use far more power and produce more heat than many modern devices.

There is Neo•Geo Station on PS3, which offers perfect emulation. Plus the PS2 SNK titles are mostly improved over the MVS versions. I just wanted it to be able to take out, but the dock thing intrigues me hugely. Especially HDMI out, so I don't need a CRT.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

Looking at comments over at Eurogamer, I'm bemused by the amount of people falling over themselves to buy one of these (no offense to anyone who is planning to buy one). Are people really prepared to pay $199 for a Chinese device that runs an emulator? With THAT selection of roms?

The TV dock is a nice idea, but I feel like I'm missing something here.

Even with the inclusion of the clone stick, I'm just not understanding the fuss. Each to their own though.

(And i'm not saying this will be any better)
Its emulated perfectly as far as I can tell and i've played all versions. What wasn't emulated properly in your experience?

For that price you'll have a real AES with some of the games included even (FFS, SS2, 3CB don't cost ****). But this is same old SNK releasing 1st gen titles, ignoring the likes of Garou.

I still own an AES with some 20 games. And I would've wanted this device, but its too expensive and the game selection is weak. NG Station on Ps3 is also incredibly faithful, it was better than I expected it to be. And Xbox emulation is like so 2002... I roll with my notebook via HDMI out. Evo X was incredible at the time though.

One thing though, are these sticks wireless? I have to sit on the ground to play my AES because of the short wires

I have a modded xbox up at my place in Scotland, the biggest standout is the music plays at the wrong speed on MOTW. It's something that really stands out to me as it's one of my all time favourite games.

They don't appear to be wireless, although the control ports are deffo not DB-15 size. Perhaps USB or proprietary. I'm sure this'll get hacked within minutes of being released and people will have full ROM sets. Then it'll be a worthwhile purchase. Maybe. The HDMI out still intrigues me. I highly doubt it has any kind of scaling chip, but 480i would give a suitable picture on a HD TV anyway. I'm keen to see how the units dock too. I guess we need more details all around.

You can get DB-15 extension cables for AES sticks.

Ports are USB you should be able to see that in this higher res image

Im not seeing what's not to like myself? This news actually made my day today

I'm thinking it'll be like with the AES where you could get gold or silver. Silver will probably be the handheld alone and gold will be the dock and stick. The more I think about it, the more I think I'll probably leave it perma-docked and use it as an official ROM box.

I'm thinking that surely the system must slot in to the cartridge slot in the dock? I love it, a full rom set on it that ran perfectly would be amazing if the HDMI out gave a great image.

Could do. That would mean the headphone socket and volume/brightness controls were all accessible that way. The SNK logo would be upside down then though.

                              My thoughts exactly.

It'd be great if they include some scanline options for the HDMI output too. It all now really comes down to the quality of the emulation. If it is absolutely bang-on then I'm sold. Hopefully Blaze will send out some review units before the release date.

If it is possible to run other emulators on it (and I'm sure it will be) then it makes it even more awesome. Aliens vs Predator CPS2, through HDMI on a Neo Geo. Fantastic.

Are you guys even reading what you're posting?

_SD_ just go and buy and other Chinese emulation device if you want multi device support. They'll cost a lot less and do the same thing.
