Probably my favorite Dreamcast game. Way better than the sequel too

Yes, brilliant tunes right from the opening sequence, it's all good.

Bought the OST, but subsequently sold which I regret so going to have to get it again, am sure the CD includes some origami stuff you can pull off onto your PC.
Am also sure that all the tunes from the games aren't included.

My bad, I've only played JSRF on the Xbox...

Btw. how different are the soundtracks of JSR and JSRF? Are there a lot of different songs that are not found in the other?

If its indeed a remix what are the chances of them doing jsrf and making it one of the hd remix sets

If it was a retail release i'd buy it, but would never fork out this much for a download. Such a shame, i'd have loved it on PS3.

Every department of JSR is superior to JSRF. The music is miles better, the locations are cooler and the whole games feels more like taking over a thriving metropolis with awesome graffiti whilst having a damn good time.

I'm hoping a Nights HD remix is up next. I'd pay ?50 for that. I don't know though, it only took me 10hrs or so to hammer Starfox on the 3DS the other week with scores not so far off my old personal bests.

I prefer the music in JSR over JSRF and in those screens it's aged brilliantly. I still feel JSRF plays better though, it's likely just due to the different design approach though. JSR is great at the risk/reward gameplay whereas JSRF (though simplified) feels like a more developed environment and flows better as you chain your progress and stop for nothing.

I'll completely and utterly disagree . JSRF was a far better game , faster, bigger better and bolder.. Better bosses, better stages, better music, better GFX (and lovely 60 fps) and better controls . The only let down in JSRF was the Police Chief wasn't anywhere near as cool as in the original, other than that it's a much better game .

Also there was tons of depth to JSRF way after you completed the game with Jet Dash and Tech ect . That said I loved the DC game and can't wait for this .

Would like to see Ecco and D2 come out as well - Overlooked classics

The music in JSRF is so fast and frantic and very videogame specific, i.e. it works ok in the game, but is almost offensive outside of the context, whereas the JSR soundtrack works in the game AND as a standalone selection of music. Thus I rate the music in in JSR a lot more.

None of the prices posted in this thread are correct. Sega haven't announced any details yet.

Boris, If your blatant lies persist you actually have you come back and correct the information. Just acting like a child, editing posts then deleting them and buggering off shows how pathetic the moderation here really is.

I may be wrong, but the impression I have is Boris was joking when he posted the price. No need to chastise him.

                            Question:

why is ebay flooded with "new and sealed" copies of JSR for the Dreamcast? Are they all fakes?

Would be a lot of effort to go to for ?3

Edit: just noticed there is a Japanese one on there for ?48.99. Might be worth faking for that sort of money.

I picked one up from a place called Ninjas Castle. Defo not fake, just found some old stock it seems.
