    Forza Horizon

This one is being Co-Developer by Leamington Spa based Startup Playground games

Embargo should be up tommorow, I presume this is the once mentioned Forza World that cropped up last year.

Fan Trailer here for a bit of colour in the thread

Urgh. As much as the series has improved and as good as the last one was, this has to be significantly different from Forza 4 or else the only driving MS is doing is driving the series into the ground. Here's hoping its not the same old Forza.

Well that new startup has guys who've worked on TOCA, Dirt and Colin McRae in the past so there's some pedigree there.

Horrid, horrid box art is confirmed by MS:

Forza is great if you like that sort of thing, but I think they suffer from massive overkill on the number of vehicles and customisations.

Focus should be moved towards using the same physics models with more exciting tracks, with online matches being restricted to standard vehicles (which means including some exciting standard vehicles!)

Ditch the "collection" ethos crap like the auction that everyone uses for about 5 minutes and instead concentrate on making it fun. Bring back the hillclimbs and hilldrops. Include some Rollercoaster tracks Ridge Racer style (like Nurburgring but more extreme)

Just because it was in the last 4 games doesn't mean you have to include it in the next one.

A screenshot of a competely flat road doesn't suggest excitement.... The "set on a road, not a track" is interesting though.

That box art cannot be final can it? Picture is fine I suppose but the game name/logo looks awful!

How come the screenshot looks more real than the promo art?!

Liking the look of this, presentation is very Codemasters...

Just wonder how much of the game will be removed before release to be sold as ****ing DLC though. Forza 4 is a joke.

I only counted 1 corner on that whole course and he ignored it and just smashed through all the fences.

Video reminds me of need for speed 4 on the old psone, day one purchase for me.

That actually looks a lot better than I thought it would be. Like NFS but with better handling.

Looked dull to me. Strangely I prefer the look of the new Need For Speed despite not owning a NFS game since the Playstation 1.
Well, I say strangely...it's not strange at all as it's practically the next Burnout in all but name.

I actually really enjoyed NFS 4 on PS1. Despite a shocking frame rate and poor track design (every track was made up of a right corner followed by a left!) it was good fun to play.
