Perhaps not the easiest to back, but good to know about: the “Valis Revival Support Project” is live on Makuake, a Japanese crowd-funding site. They’re looking to raise 5m yen (~$45k) to fund a Switch compilation of the first three PC Engine Valis games, aiming to release in December this year. The campaign ends at the end of July and they’re already about 75% there!

Certainly looks nice, and seems they're already a good way underway with it, which is a plus. They've got 'The Vagrant' listed as a past project, anyone played that to comment?
One project earlier this year that seemingly passed me by is "[lock-on] Volume 1" gaming journal - link. If you missed it too, seems it's now available to pre-order over here. Looks pretty nice.

Couple of other projects worth noting:
[lock-on] Volume 002 - A Gaming Journal. I found out about the first edition late so am still expecting my copy of 001 in the post, but based on previews and the writers involved, I'm expecting this to be pretty nice.
Soul Arts presented by (Souls-focused YouTuber) VaatiVidya. Despite being into these games I never really got into this guy, but seems he's been running a number of art contests on his channel over the past few years, which has lead to this compilation.

Project Warlock 2 on kickstarter the original is pretty good though tbh the Kickstarter is just a token thing as it will get made regardless the goal was only 205 euro https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ject-warlock-2

Cross-posted this into the Paprium thread in the retro forum already, but there's a new Kickstarter going for Paprium in order for the game to be brought across to PS4/5 and Steam. The campaign video is rather eccentric (this is as generously as I can interpret it) and includes a lengthy section of reading negative comments about the game that the developer clearly feels are worth refuting and ridiculing.
The pledge structure is quite odd (pledges as low as $1 gets you access to a store where you pay separately for physical goods) and I'd definitely recommend people read up on the history of the project before diving in.

Fighting game for the Megadrive https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...it/insane-pain
Was having a browse and was tons of games that were not my thing at all, and many with little to no effort on the pitch like this one https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...overy_category
However did see this game and it looked pretty cool like a Hollow knight crossed with Shovel knight https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...overy_categoryLast edited by eastyy; 31-10-2021, 11:51.

Forgot to mention this before but it feels like a good few will be interested in this. ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO TOAPLAN (their caps) may well be the last Kickstarter I back, given the site's sketchy pivot into blockchain/crypto waters.
