Storing a tree in memory is one thing. Allowing that tree to be destroyed and having realistic physics to make it look cool is another. Maintaining that destroyed tree's 'bits' is something else altogether. We could see more of this in smaller environments e.g. non open world stuff. One day someone will come up with a way to store the destroyed tree details as a procedure I imagine. Then we're golden.
