I'm expecting the WiiU to have quite a strong E3 appearance, for all their mistakes with the 3DS's first few months they nailed it's prerelease E3 so they just need to emulate that to win with it, even if most the games won't appear for ages. 3DS should, hopefully, be brilliant, now the sales are strong there should be heavy support for it and some nice game announcements.

PS3 will be quite standard, nothing too surprising and very exclusives focused. 360 will once again be dull as dishwater, very focused on Halo and Forza with the rest going to Kinects last year of focus.

The one to watch is Vita, it's already struggling in sales and without either a price drop or some solid game announcements Sony will have an issue on their hands, they need it not to struggle at Xmas.

I reckon Nintendo will try to pull out all the stops for the Wii U's re-reveal, after last year's showing failed to convince anyone.
I also expect that the Wii U will see a name change.... the 3DS showed that giving a new console a very similar name to its predecessor makes it difficult to market.



I doubt they'll reveal a new 3DS. They'll want to keep the focus on the Wii U, and announcing a new 3DS model earlier than necessary will kill sales of the current model while annoying existing owners.

Nintendo are going to be the only one with genuinely new stuff to show. Microsoft and Sony are just going to be the standard sequel fests they always are this late on in the game.

I hold out a little hope we may see next gen things, but we've seen that Microsoft have moved towards a more apple approach of holding their own events and announcing release dates with only a couple of months notice.

It's all about Nintendo for me. Obviously i'm interested in Micorsoft for work reasons, and there will be some awesome stuff, but it is Nintendo who i think will bring the wow factor.

Pikmin 3. A new IP and some solid info on the Wii-U. I would love to know whether it is a Nintendo's 360, which to me is a childhood dream so i'll be happy, (i just want a HD Zelda - simples) or whether it is actually quite the power house. Either way it's going to be immense. IMMENSE

Nintendo have always been pretty good at that themselves, I guess your average Nintendo game doesn't require the photorealistic rendering that the other consoles are aiming for, and aren't as taxing.
