Lost Planet: EX Troopers

Not as heavy as Fire Emblem of course, but much heavier than Monster Hunter. The game is easy enough to play without knowing the details, and most of the story is easy enough to guess.

That's a bit of a trek dude. For cheaper than the cost of airfare I could import another copy and a 3DS to play it on and give it to some one here.

3DS version is fun too, shame I'll NEVER have ANYONE to play co-op with locally. BINS.

Get it on PS3.
Though in saying that, online is really hard to find co-op rooms if you're not in Japanese prime time.

There's only one real part at end game where translation can be a sticking point, as that entails a 10 question quiz. I'll post pictures of the answers in the first play thread if people need it.

Other than that, there's nothing really text heavy centric in terms of getting by.

I'm trying to stay away from PS3 games right now Jim, I have too many that I won't play already, and SRW arriving yesterday has given me reason to take BF3 out of the console for the first time in a while.

Indeed not. Sadly due to budgetary cutbacks, and my current Scrooge-like cheapness, I'm not going to fly you over here either.
