Quite interested to see how this will look on 360/PS3. The demo they showed looked incredible (coat physics ftw), though I was surprised by the ropey facial animation - why aren't more devs trying to emulate what LA Noire did?

I'd imagine because it was insanely expensive and had problems of it's own.

Excellent. I miss the days when one game launched on 3 or more formats, and we could all compare them.

            PS3 will trump 360, but Wii-U will trump PS3...?

Like to see it running on an 8 core CPU and see how many cores are being used.

That eight core spec is interesting, considering that most multi-core CPUs have four physical + 4 hyper threading cores; I wonder if and how much the game will benefit from more than four physical cores.

Sometimes regret changing out my 1100T for a 3570k, that was a beast, rose tinted im sure, I think you're right on this one I don't actually think we will struggle.

Hopefully Digital Foundry will do some tests and see whether Ubi are blowing hot air or have actually gone the extra mile to utilise > 4 cores.

They listed the 3930K in their maximum settings - that only has 6 physical cores.

                              I'm assuming a 4 core O/Cd to 5 GHz will be ok :-)

If they meant 'threads' and not 'cores' then yes, you should be fine.
