Zombi U - Wii U

Very varying reviews on this game. Seems like the concept doesn't have universal appeal. I'll probably love it, but I assume many won't.

What's particularly telling is how some reviewers mentions intended game features (like having to hunt down your zombiefied self to get your backpack) as flaws in the game. So there doesn't seem to be much objectively wrong with the game, rather than it does its own unique thing, which many might not enjoy.

Those scores seem pretty uniform to me, with Eurogamer being the anomaly.

I just watched the Gamespot review. It REALLY looks like Dead Island, and seems to have almost all of the flaws that made that a less than stellar game.

Dark Souls looks a bit like Skyrim, or Two Worlds.

I have seen enough in Zombi U to make me fairly confident that it will be good. No pre release jitters for me. Looking forward to all those London locations and the chance to bash a cockney zombie over the head with a cricket bat.
