****ing incredible game, especially given the hardware.
All I'll say to that is

      Link's Awakening = Nintendo

      Alien 3 = LJN

I'll give it a whirl...the video looks like gash, but then all gameboy youtube videos do. Better than zelda is high praise indeed.

Mr Hat, as a fellow RG contributor I'm surprised by such an error. LJN were the publisher of Alien 3, and the publisher of a game isn't always representative of a game's quality. Nightmare on Elm Street for the NES was developed by RARE for example, but published by LJN. It was also pretty good, and featured simultaneous 4 player support.

Alien 3 was actually developed by BITS corporation.

OK, technically Alien 3 was probably their best original game (R-Type DX being a port), but still...

Well, I was exaggerating for effect. I completed it 4 times because you can clock it in around... an hour if you know what you're doing? But it's still on my top 5 GB games, along with Zelda, Monster Max, and Sunsoft's Batman (which is basically GB Mario Land albeit with guns).

I'm on good terms with a bunch of people from Bits, so I'm aware of that Still, most stuff published by LJN is dribble.

I'd also have to beg to differ on their best original game. Never played Warlocked?

I don't know if I'm in the minority but I always loved the first Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle. I remember it being a great puzzle game.
