Kick in the balls then jizzed over by an ant for 360 owners with that announcement.

The NTSCJ 360 Owners Club is putting on cool looking shades however.

Don't worry 360 owners, to paraphrase the words of Microsoft 'If you don't like it, buy a PS3'

Works for current gen machine woes just as well as Xbox One related ones

Same here, if the Blue compo wasn't on I would have ordered already.

That said if I win the euro's tonight, I'm buying - for everybody.

                I should've just bought another PS3.

So, is this playable over here on PS3 and who is getting it and how much? I have never played an import PS3 game. Does everyone have headsets? I could well get this if so.

Earth Defense Force 4 [Best Price Version] for PlayStation 3It's been 8 years since the Earth Defense Force defeated the last threat - the Forina. Using the technologies left by these deadly foes, human civilization developed at a stunning speed. However, peace won't last, a new type of enemy is appearing from below the earth, and the EDF is commanded to head to war once again. Winged insects are raining their needles on the Force, and red bugs have shells that are next to indestructible. They are not afraid of air raids and usual attacks, their thick skin protects them ...

I have a headset and a few other people here have one too, while i was playing on EDF IA on PS3.

PS3 bought. This game's costing me a lot more than it ****ing should be.

Am just waiting (still) for my copy of Dodonpachi to arrive before I press the pre-order button! Only like 1 international order on the go at a time.

How much of a language barrier is it likely to expect? Only played pal EDFs so far.

                            EDF - E3 news!

Although EDF 4 (Japanese release) is still due out in 15 days time, the Western release (2025) has been delayed to February 2014.

Although this may seem that the game is coming out late, technically, if it's coming out in 2014, it's coming out 11 years early...

Plus you know what to ask your loved one for Valentine's Day.

In more positive news, Co-Optimus are pumped for the game after playing it at E3. It sounds like the co-op element is going to be really strong in this, but I'm not sure how that's going to work when everybody is silent on the PS3 version as nobody has a bluetooth headset...

Miki showed me a few practical functions of cooperative play. We were on a mission to destroy some Shield Bearers, walking robots who generated a large dome of energy, protecting themselves and other Ravagers from long range attacks and air strikes. My lumbering Fencer and the other soldier classes could walk through their force fields.

I made short work of the first robot, but I found my dual-wielding destroyer was too slow to effectively move on to the next target. Miki suggested I hop into a nearby APC. She took the wheel and drove me to the next firefight. (Fencers can't drive APCs, so you'll need a buddy to drive your cumbersome bulk to the battle.) She could also paint targets for my heavier weapons.

There was a real feeling of cooperation with two players. I can't wait to take on the Ravager hordes with with three other players.
It's all sounding pretty good so far, with a familiar, but refined feel:
EDF 2025 just feels right. Dozens, if not hundreds, of giant insects were obliterated during my short play session. Buildings crumbled as if made of matchsticks. Health and armor pick ups littered the battlefield.

The game looks much, much, better than
EDF 2017 and Insect Armageddon, but it isn't a graphical powerhouse (not that fans will mind). The menus looked, well, they looked Japanese, but they were similar to the 2017 menus. The whole game felt refined, but comfortably familiar.
Here's their interview with Miki Takahashi

I've just watched David Attenborough's "Micro Monsters" to get me ready.

I'll never tire of seeing arthropods mashing each other up in freaky ways.
