Everyone going to be on Xbox ?

I've got a feeling it'll be a lonely online experience now, regardless of platform. Amazon can't even be arsed to list it properly. No pic or price and release date wrong: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00B...dir_mdp_mobile
      I'll be on PS3.

Proper men? Bellhawks, you mean. I've learned that much already.

Joking aside. Had a lot more abuse from Xbox users over the years when you beat them. Pussies.

FammiDoDdy swears at everyone when he gets beaten, no matter what system it's on.

I thought we'd settled this? The ones who are pure Man Plan played this months ago on PS3 import ;p

Yes the real MEN ( ie Me ), bought it months ago. And think the UK version is/will be lonely, nobody from here played it, at least online in 4P co-op. The usual stuff play it a week and return to COD or GTA. I started the vita version again, not one person playing online. I could play i guess with japanese people but did want some laughs and talking ( which japanese people hardly do ). So much in fact ive not finished the PS3. Will i double dip for a game most people might play for a week or two im not convinced.

As much as I dislike Microsoft's Golden Wall, I saved a Gold Sub purely for this game.

As much as I love the PS3's excellent Plus service, online is still flaky as hell.

The Live network is brilliantly executed and that's why I'm getting it on 360.

There was about 10 of us from the forum playing Insect Armageggon, we played it solidly for just under two months (slightly longer for 100% King Katsu!) and it's easily some of the funniest and exciting gaming I've ever had.

I'm really looking forward to the classic EDF made for co-op play and how the different character dynamics affect how to tackle a stage.

I'm also excited at the prospect of blowing some more Ravagers bigger than a small town.

Roll on next month, but I can't believe how poorly this is being promoted. The lack of definite dates is really poor. I feel like I've done more promotion for 2025 than anyone involved with the game!

Real men play this game on all difficulties and with all characters, nevermind system choices and import Charlies.

The game ONLY comes into its own on tougher levels, where huge decisions need to be made about loadout, target priorities, flanking strategies, vehicle use and decoys. Anyone who completes the game on normal and thinks they've seen all the game has to offer is a SAP. It's like reading a synopsis of a novel and thinking you know it. No - you're missing out on the complexities, the subtleties and the richer detail afforded by putting the effort in to reveal the layers of depth behind the bare bones of the work. Only now, on Hardest difficulty, am I starting to really have to think about complex strategies and tactics (the only reason it's taken so long is due to being a grizzled veteran with a few tricks up my sleeve to make things easier for as long as possible). Similarly, weapon loadouts, and making the decision to farm some levels for armour and some for higher calibre weapons, are a huge concern.

The exhilaration of taking down a level after 20 minutes of extremely punishing, tight gameplay, is intoxicating. You have to balance priorities. Take down the lesser enemies, or the source? If you go for the source too quickly you'll be jizzed arl ower and lose too much health too quickly from the ground attacks. If you leave it too late you'll be swamped. So, you try to hit upon a winning tactic. While your bud takes down giant UFOs to lessen the frequency of enemy drops, you have to form a protective wall around him to peg back the oncoming hordes, taking down dozens of buildings to create firing lines. All while you're both running and gunning, cos you can't stay still. That's EDF higher level team play, you skanks.

I'll have a go at online - PS3 of course, real men play the Japanese version on a machine from a Japanese company!

Really busy at the moment so the odd Friday evening will be the only time I can get on unfortunately but yep ding me up for the PS3Team.
