I've played the first 2 levels on Easy, Normal and Hard and already I can tell this is going to be classic EDF - even if I only used the Ranger class.
All the reviewers can bellhawk off.

Just been to Gamestop. Tossers. I still forked out the extra dosh though - what else was I going to do, with that nice shiny new EDF within grabbing distance. The underling behind the counter still tried to flog me game insurance even though he could see I was well miffed at having to pay the extra 25 euro.

I can't believe I'm writing this, but...this game actually comes with an old-fashioned instruction booklet printed on real paper! A proper meaty one too, full of weapon and vehicle descriptions and hints-n-tips. I love it already. GOTY by dint of that alone!

And that’s the thing. For what it is, Earth Defence Force 2025 is perfect.It isn’t aspiring to be some high art, desperately seeking to be accepted by the mainstream media and being used to justify the existence of videogames to people that literally could not care any less.
It isn’t about emotions or an allegory for man’s inhumanity to other men or something like that.
It is a videogame, warts and all, where you run around and shoot things that are bigger than you (and continue to get even bigger) until there is nothing left to shoot. What more could you possibly want?

Bunch of lame-o-trons.

I asked when I'd get it and if I'd get some kind of confirmation email that it was sent.

They said they ship 2 days early, didn't answer the second question and then closed the request.

I've just re-opened it to ask where my order, specifically, is and if I'll get a confirmation email as nothing has changed on the order status since I first gave them my money.

With ShipTo, I ordered Borderlands 2 on the 23rd December. Postage was free, they took a snap of the parcel at 11:30 am and it arrived the next day. That's Christmas Eve and it still came next-day.

I know who's getting my money next time.
