IGN Beyond Good and Evil Review...

I bought BG+E yesterday but havent had a chance to play it yet (damn night-shift work). I've been looking forward to it ever since I saw the first trailer on PSM2 years back. Once I've finished work and gotten some shut-eye I'll be able to have a blast.

Has anyone actually had a play of this (BG+E), and have any comments? I'm tempted to pick it up along with PoP soon (since ?40 for the two on PS2 sounds pretty good to me...), but there seems to be a distinct lack of mentions of it on here (and I've even searched!). I would like to have some proper user impressions to go on, rather than just online reviews, if possible! Thanks.

My copy turned up yesterday, (17 quid from MVC), and I have to say that it feels very similar to the first Jax and Daxter game (I've only played the demo for the second one) with some improvements (camera seems ok to me, buddy AI is strong so far), and certainly no worse bits so far.

As I loved the first Jax and Daxter game this is just what the doctor ordered as I've been after a relaxing, entertaining platfomer for a while.

I bought the PC version since the GC one doesn't support Progressive Scan.

Needless to say, it looks stunning at 1600x1200. Played about 10mins of it so far and its quite compelling already.
