That level on the train thing in the desert was amazing. I'd of loved more levels like that, even a whole game based around that whole battleship style thing. 'twas so damn cool

The two Lost Planet games are 2 of the worst I have played this gen...have no redeeming features at all imo
Still annoyed I was talked into buying 2 for co-op and I only spent ?5 on it!!
Dead Rising was the reason I got a 360 but was ruined by the save system as at the time I couldn't play for extended periods...now I am a loveless singleton who can play for 12 hours at a time I should try it again!
As for this petition..I'd rather just remember playimg the original back in the day.

Because it's capacom and a good game? People only want the same old **** when it's the same old good ****, completely forgetting that remaking the same old good **** takes away what makes the game good in the first place.
Whilst we are why don't we re record all the classic songs in the world with new bands and better instruments, or remake all the classic films with new casts.
Pretty much is the same with games I feel, lets keep the originals and classics, if they are true classics they will always be great.
Or what happens is people say Resi 2 HD would be awesome, then we get a silent hill collection abomination.

The Silent Hill abomination was only an abomination because it was buggered up. There is value in giving some of these games a polish and rerelease and even potential to go much, much further as the fantastic RE GC remake shows. That game took nothing away from the original and added a hell of a lot more to the experience.

Capcom now to me are the Sega of this generation, next gen Capcom will be cracking out Megaman All Star Karting, alongside Street Fighter 2 vs Street Fighter 4 and Resident Evil reboot.
REmake was lightning in a bottle, don't think Capcom even have the talent to do it again.
Suppose we can all dream though.

Resident Evil Remake (Gamecube) - is, to me, still the very best Resident Evil - but equally the greatest example of a remake done so right. If Capcom could even get close to that for a Resi 2 remake, we could see something very special indeed...
- assuming, of ocurse, their - or whoever they out source it to - heart is in it.

This generation of gamer (other than those on forums like these) couldnt give a hoot about old capcom games and the old school capcom staff have probably long moved on, replaced by 600 staff producing hollywood flash (something that would totally destroy the memories and nostaliga that biohazard 2/RE 2 brings). The business (capcom) is so profit based now, a remake would probably bring in little coin. The industry is now so full of money making yearly franchises now - fifa/cod/halo etc. Thats were the cash is.
Doubt its going to happen - other than perhaps an HD update/upscale (which would still be welcome).
Let it go guys, pick up the DC version and play it through VGA for an experience rarely beaten.Last edited by dvdx2; 05-10-2012, 08:49.

If they do give this a remake then I want them to add in RE3 too and hell they could work segments of outbreak in too. It'd be difficult to perfect it but it could also work really well and clean the story up really nicely. I wouldn't mind if they make it co-op with Leon/Claire and Jill/Carlos.
