Sin and Punishment 2 can be had for about a tenner (new) from Amazon sellers. Most stupendously awesome game on the system, in my - obviously correct - view.

Oh, and Little King's Story for about ?15.

I forgot I also picked up Nights Journey of Dreams for a fiver the other day. Haven't played it yet though.

Journey of Dreams is a bit wack imo. This thread reminded me that I really need to play Punchout and Sin and Punishment 2.

Another really fun Wii game is Fortune Street/Boom Street/Itadaki Street. It's a finance and property themed boardgame, not entirely unlike Monopoly - but way better! It has a whole stock exchange element, tons and tons of included boards, and is just generally one of the most fun games you can play with 2 or 3 friends on the Wii. Be warned: games can last up to 5 or 6 hours! It's a long running series by Square Enix dating from the NES days in Japan, but the Wii version is the first one to have been released in English.

edit: forget to mention you should be able to get it for ?10 - ?15 used online. So it's not ultra cheap but trust me, totally worth it. If you're too old to play games with your mates in real life, there's online which normally has some people on it too . I can imagine it being a fun family game with slightly older children (say 10+).

I'd consider owning a Wii, purely for Ghost Squad myself.
          Kept you waiting, huh?

It can be had even cheaper:

^Yeah! Even GAME do it sub-?5!! Actually have that game, definitely concur with Charles, it's excellent.

Anyone got an opinion on Eledees? Played a bit of it a month back, seems pretty cool, pretty different. It's always below a fiver, too.

De Blob and Kirby's Epic Yarn are both must have games.

Second thumbs up for Excite Truck.

Have to pick Ghost Squad at some point. Looks ace!

Don't think Kirby's Epic Yarn can be had on the cheap. Don't understand why it holds its high price, tbh. It's so saccharine it made me puke. I concur with the Zack and Wiki endorsements, though. It's a real shame Capcom didn't follow this up with another one.

Great thread. Been silently building up a library of Wii exclusives for some time now but I still want to hack mine to play Shiren the Wanderer. Just picked up Another Code:R on Amazon for just under ?11, as it's a European exclusive in English.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is good and cheap. Even the accompanying fight stick was cheap for a while, not sure if it still is.

Jesus Christ. No one has any excuse not to own that game at that price.

The time you lose to it is much more valuable.

Oh yeah, I already mentioned that I found MadWorld for $15 here (7quid50), easily one of the best bargains in my gaming history.

Yeah i got my TvC Stick for ?18 New a while back but dont think it has remained that low. Great game too, although probably would have done much better if it was released on 360 or PS3 due to more online activity. Never did play a game online

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core is always cheap and is another great fighting game. GGXXAC Plus is relatively cheap new if you want the extras.

A few one star reviews for Ghost Squad on Amazon saying it only takes an hour to complete? What's the deal?

Ghost Squad can be played through in about an hour BUT you go through it again and make different choices about route OR do certain things it changes the playthrough.

So, so clever. I forget how many different ways there are through that game! Immense fun.

                                Excite Truck is class!
