With Halo 4 just a few days away until official launch i thought id take a little survey of the forumites feelings on the best story or whatever did it for you, no multi-player gubbings are to be considered.

And seeing as there is 5 games, points means prizes, 5 for the best and 1 for your least favourite.

I think it's the other way around. There's only one person who considers Halo 2 single-player better than Halo and that is, no great surprise here, rmoxon.

Edit: Ok, there's Family Fry too.

But speaking seriously, anyone who thinks Halo 2 campaign is better than Halo should have their head examined.

Have only played the first 3 and I'd rate them 1 > 3 > 2. Played mostly coop and enjoyed the first game alot, excellent stuff. The car sequences were the best (Warthog?) especially the last escape level in the first game. Halo 2 was just poor from my memory of it. Didn't they try to add story to that game? LOL. 3 was good stuff, nice graphical update and some big enemies but my interest in Halo grew less and less with each entry. I did play Halo 1 on the PC at one point and it was ridiculous. Was so easy with the mouse I started to wonder about the controls for the console version. Like the only thing that made it hard was the controller or something.

Well i just at first wanted some kind of poll, we have lots of those. But if Alex wants he can contribute and tell us his favourite Halo stories, plots, characters, or just anecdotal stories on fun co-op sessions or likes and dislikes, course we all can, i can't fofce you to tell me your Halo memories. And yes Halo 2 is my least favourite, and i expect it to be most people's choice, i guess its the ending that most of us find lacking, or for me just a That's It, now i need to wait another 3 or 4 years, you B******S.

a) My contribution was communicating my desire for stimulating arguments instead of lists. While I too have an opinion on the matter, speaking it in a list-centric thread will only result in it drowning among all the other posts. I realise now - and probably did then - that voicing my thoughts wouldn't really change anything in the thread, and only bring to it bitterness. For that I apologise.

b) I really hate that argument: If you dislike something, avoiding it is the solution?
