The only real let down for me was the prices Nintendo intend to charge for the VC games. I think they are way off the mark by charging ?5.49 for Snes games for me that is just far too much to charge. If this is how much Snes games cost just think how much they will charge if they do N64 and Gamecube VC games and i doubt if they even will be the full 60hz versions.

My N64 played 4 games in its lifetime. Mario 64, OOT, Mario Kart and Wave Race. I'm in. Take my money.

I wasn't properly gaming back then. I was mostly out getting off my tits. Mario Kart was what me and my mates did when we got back home until we got tired enough to sleep.

When you have 3 guys trying to beat each others mario kart times on a daily basis over a number of years it doesn't leave much time for other games anyway. I did catch up on stuff years later though and I have played GoldenEye, just not on my original 64.

So, they did actually announce Mario Kart..... they'd have been stupid not to. Looks like it could even be out this Xmas.

The new Yoshi game definitely looks interesting. If it's as good as Epic Yarn then we'll all be in for a treat. I hope the 3D Mario game is in the same league as their recent efforts and we don't get another Sunshine.

Didn't expect an HD remake of Wind Waker though, that was a bit of a surprise. Still, I'm far more interested in a new game in the series anyway.

Windwaker must be the easiest zelda game to make an HD version of I imagine. Also the Zelda game that needed an HD remake the least.

I wonder if its likely a full 3D imagined version of Link To The Past will ever get done as Miyamoto kind of hinted he would like to try and do? That could be incredible.

Im thinking the new zelda will be along the lines of 4 swords with online, which was pretty awesome with 4 people on the gamecube.

Works for me at least I don't have to pay ?25-40 for a cube copy now. Ill just pay it for a Wii-U one

Most GC games barely need updating to be honest. Wind Waker has to be the most unnecessary candidate for an HD remake of all time!

Super excited about new Mario and Mario Kart though. Will absolutely have to get a Wii U this Xmas if they're out then (which I assume they will be).

So the Balloon Fight nu-VC release is confirmed to be 50hz for PAL WiiU.

Why is this still an issue in 2013? It makes the Virtual Console nearly irrelevant.
