I just got my xl from 365games.co.uk for 169.00 delivered

On the subject of the new 3ds machines btw, I transfered data between two devices, but my street pass panels don't seem to have made the transition (street pass quest progress is all present and correct). I'm literally stuck with the original 5 fully completed and don't seem to be able to unlock any other panel despite many pass hits since. Also, my downloaded game save data is gone too. Any way of getting that back at all?

Probably on yr old SD card? Did you pick the 3rd (bottom option when transferring). Did you copy yr old SD card to the PC first?

I backed up my old SD card previous anyway to the PC in case card crashed etc at some point. A bit of hassle that you need to use the PC I know, but quicker than backing up a Vita which takes agggeeees with the Content Manger.

There are 3 choices of types of Transfer for 3DS one of which is full Transfer. Apparently this pulls everything from the SD too to the New 3DS but can take up to 10hrs apparently! Unless you have 2 chargers maybe difficult. There is a wireless SD data Transfer option too where you can winless link to the PC does drain battery though.


Note the 3rd bottom option only takes around 30 mins I think it was then just PC SD card transfer after.

I went for the third option and copied my 3dsxl 4gb card contents to a 16gb microSD card. Took 10 minutes on PC and the system transfer about 30. That way I got more space on the N3ds.

The new Megadrive theme looks pretty awesome it's got the same design as the Sonic 1 box has, and the mega CD music as the theme song.

Just got mine in the post! It looks totally untouched; the box had been opened but all the inserts etc. were still wrapped up and the unit didn't have a speck of dust on it.

Evidently it was an unwanted gift, or something.

Still, the improved 3D is very evident. I tried Mario Kart 7 and you've really got to jitter the thing around before you see any crosstalk.

It really is very good indeed, and I love the 3d effect now. Before it gave me a headache!

Can someone who has seen the New3DS adjacent to an older, "normal" 3DS tell me - is the physical size of the unit much different? I only have my XL to compare it to.

I might run to GAME on the way home and grab a carry case.

Looks as though the New3DS is marginally bigger. I'd better try out any new case.

Not as big a size difference as I thought there'd be based on earlier info. I love the New 3DS's Snes inspired colour scheme but if I were to ever get a 3DS again it would be the New 3DS XL all the way.
