I'll say this much (stating the obvious, perhaps): I'd be VERY surprised if the likes of GAME, Argos, Amazon et al stuck to Nintendo's RRP of ?156 for the New 3DS when it does eventually become widely available.

Argreed and this is what is really annoying and stupid about the U.K I do not want a crap Game or Supermarket bundle with at least 1 or 2 or 3 games I do not like/want at an inflated price. In other countries you can buy stand alone machines. Or in the U.K before the shops get their grubby mitts on them you can get a stand alone machine. E.g. I got my PS4 on its own from Amazon U.K then straight after bundles everywhere. I'd much prefer even the option to buy just the machine the U.K barley ever caters for this and it does become tiresome. E.g. I bought a 2nd hand Vita and Game still insisted I needed a bundle it's ridiculous.

Around xmas they hiked up the prices of all Amiibo that were in stock to ?14.99, was clever how game bought out gamestation then closed them all down. So much for competition on the highstreet.

Still cannot believe this was allowed to happen I used to love Gamestation it's atmosphere and staff so much.

They could have done something like the smash tourney faceplates in japan, on the back was text to commemorate the edition making them a lot more special. Yeah it's totally subjective i agree i'm sure some of the plates i have got some people will think hideous. If people like the design then fair enough and it does mean that people do have early access to the system which is a nice upgrade. However that price sends the message to Nintendo that europe will lap up inflated prices with no complaints, thats the thing that annoys me most i think.

lol you can forget me ever having a complete set of faceplates, the smash tourney ones are only one in existance of each one.

I can confirm no as I'm an Ambassador and no e-mail to me. Imported the Aus version New 3DS already though and Japanese Smash Brothers faceplate so quite happy. Good to hear some here got an e-mail enjoy if you decide to buy one. I quite fancy a charge stand might get one at some point.

Are these actually limited?
I'd convinced myself to buy the first special edition LL they bring out over here, because I'm not sure I could handle going down to a smaller screen, but I do think this one looks pretty nice.

I want one but not at the price. None of the games I have will benefit anyway.

For me ?180 seems okay when I think of the charging cradle...

Plus I just want to finish Bravely Default. I traded my 3DSXL in quite a while ago and I still have some of the credit left so I guess maybe better to wait for general release.
