Makes sense; it has that weird "flipped perspective" effect - like it was both a Space Harrier-type game and a top-down shooter.

Want OutRun and After Burner II badly. Took Sega Ages (no pun intended) to release the other ones in the West not sure why. Here hoping they get released.

You're not the only one. I think that I've become somewhat obsessed with After Burner II - I've been hammering the PCE version lately. Not too shabby (arguably better than the MD port) but obviously not 3DS/Saturn/DC port standard.

Think I read somewhere online that the head of M2 hinted that the second wave of Sega 3D Classics might not get western releases due to the first wave of Sega 3D Classics (Super Hang-On, Space Harrier, Galaxy Force II, etc.) not selling well.

That said, it did take the first wave of Sega 3D Classics a long time to be released over here, so we'll see.

I'm honestly considering buying a JPN 3DS at this point!

Slight flaw in Warrior's Way for StreetPass, I think.

You only gain new soldiers when you meet 3DS users who haven't got the game, but it seems everyone who bothers with StreetPasses now has it, meaning that I just run into a succession of people with 1mil+ soldiers and I'm languishing with 20k. You can buy soldiers with coins, but the one person I do occasionally run into who doesn't have the game gives me enough that buying them with coins is pointless, as it'd take weeks and weeks and weeks of buying coins just to finish the next country.

They needed to add some kind of minigame to get soldiers off people that do have the game that doesn't involve combat; maybe if they'd picked the same castle theme as you, and you do a paper-scissors-stone or something.

I get soldiers from coins. Pretty much the only place I can. I've gotten several tens of thousands of soldiers from spotpass visitors from Nintendo on my J-3DS.

3DS-focused Japanese edition of Nintendo Direct scheduled for tomorrow 4am Pacific (7am Eastern, 12noon GMT, 1pm CET). Exact content of it unconfirmed at present and no word on whether there will be North American/European editions to follow up.

New 3DS revision coming with 2nd control stick and cool super famicom button colours also an extra L & R button around the back.

Eeeeeeh they seem to have fixed the screen blurring while the 3D is on when you move it from the sweet spot now i AM interested.

Firmware update for all 3DS consoles in October adds home menu themes.

Its currently been broadcast on the live presentatiuon.

There will be 2 versions one slightly bigger than the other like the original & LL models, the screen has been improved so it no longer has the motion blur when 3D is active also the processor speed has been improved so downloads will download faster and the web browser will be faster too. The C stick nub will be just above the face buttons, there is a new micro SD card slot & the game slot is now around the front.

The c stick will work with the new smash bros game along with monster hunter and final fantasy explorers. It seems to be quite an update with added features plus the battery life has also been slightly increased by an hour.

Oh there is also a new theme shop for the 3DS so you can pimp out yout home screen.

Xenoblade Chronicles to be ported to 3DS. Will give this another chance if it comes west.

EDIT: Oh no I wont, it's only compatible with new hardware due to requiring the full grunt all that extra processing power, apparently...although screen outputs at same resolution.
