Really interested to see what Bungie have in store without the constraints of CANON!

The concept art for it was looking really beautiful and the Sci-Fi meets Swords style looked kewl.

So, our game is called Destiny.

In a matter of days, we're going to give you your first glimpse into the vision and ambition that's driving the creation of our brave new world. I am excited to see what it is but for me Bungie only made one awesome game. The rest were merely good or just ok (this is more than many devs manage if course). Halo superfans will see it as the second coming nomatter what.

Are we expecting an fps?

I'm interested to see what they can do that isn't Halo, free of plot and the world. Thing is, it's never gonna be a terrible game, it will probably be very well made and pretty, just like their other games.

I'm not sure how I feel about another FPS that is made by the people who made Halo, that isn't Halo. I can't imagine any game pulling me away from Halo multiplayer.

Bungie know their network code and multiplayer stuff for sure. Probably the best in the business so the connected world stuff has piqued my interest. Not expecting anything amazing graphically as I think they struggled a bit with their last couple of games but I'm hoping they'll prove me wrong and send this generation out with a bang!

They are a talented bunch and if they are free of the shackles of an older engine and feeling like they have to keep feature parity.

I'm sure half the reason that Halo 4 looked so much better was because 343i cut back a bunch of features that must of sapped memory away from graphics effects.

There will presumably be a next gen version coming out too.

I'm really hyped for this. Mainly because we know Bungie can deliver technically and narratively... Plus I think they will have learnt a lot from Halo in general which should surely bleed into this game without bearing too much similarity.

From the FPS description mentioning variety... Perhaps this will have RPG elements, some genre-crossovers? Not long to at least get some more info. What I do know is I really liked the artistic shots they released earlier.

I'm actually really interested in this, though I have to say barring halo ce and reach, bungie talked far to much and showed too many bull shots for me to trust anything press related they show. I'll look forward to getting my hands on it however.

So this is a MMOFPS that requires a persistant online connection. How will that work for non Gold XBL users then?
