Resistance 2 MP was awesome. In fact the whole game rocks, don't listen to FSW.

I'm interested in how the persistant thing is going to work. From the sounds of it there will be co-op and it will either take the form of an MMOFPS online or something more like Chromehounds? ie. fighting for territorial position in a range of locations/battles.
I take it that footage they showed is current generation and they wont show anything next-generation for consoles until they're properly unveiled? Also does this mean we can play as the bad guys?! One thing I've always wanted to do in Halo is play as the Covenant and I dont just mean playing as a re-skinned bad guy with the same weaponry.

I tried the demo of R2 when I got an original PS3 & it really felt bad. PS2 era design and their was nothing special about it. I remember Giantbomb once commented the series had really large & impressive bosses... Might give the demo of R3 a go to see what's unique about it.
Resistance 2 was not that great, it was kinda like Serious Sam only without the humour. Enemies would run at you in a Stright line and you'd need a but if luck to kill them before they got to you. Resistance 3 was great though, there's nothing unique about it, it's just a well made FPS with fantastic level design and proper enemy A.I.Last edited by rmoxon; 18-02-2013, 03:01.

Back on topic, im looking forward to seeing destiny actually played by someone, or getting my hands on it, too many years of bull shots and vids from bungie have taught me to get my hands on it before making a comment on the game. It certainly has halo dna coursing though it (no bad thing), and some of the vistas of the cities remind me of mass effect, which i suppose was inevitable. With the next round of consoles around the corner as well its certainly interesting times ahead for gamers
