Shame it's GAME as their CS is awful but the price seems reasonable. If I was after a PS4 that's probably the one I'd get but as I already have one I don't see the point.

Also you're going to have to hunt down that white vertical stand becuase otherwise you might struggle to get one particularly given the patchy availability of certain Sony PS4 accessories; vertical stand, charging base and the red/blue controllers since launch.

Quite fancy that deal. Game works out at ?35. Console case is not too festooned with logos that it'd be an embarrassment if Destiny turned out to be pap. Is it a boxed copy of the game you get?

Maybe but black does fit in with everything else generally ... Also white will get mega dirty.. Never saw the attraction of it myself.

Not sure of it's connected but EG has posted details for the 3 special editions; essentially Digital, Steel Book (Middle of the road) and full-on plastic tat collector's edition.

I was all set to go digital with this game but even though it's an eye-watering ?150 I kinda want the talking ghost :/

It's definitely a news item for 'Brandon Routh Joins "Arrow" As The Atom' for me.

And yes it's going to be nickel and dime central. It looks to be mirroring COD so far, in that also tends to launch with 3 physical editions and digital versions. So my guess is you're looking at DLC (or Season Pass for some of it) plus skins for weapons, mounts and armour? That would be bearable as those micro-transactions wouldn't be impacting gameplay but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Erm had an email earlier from game saying my order was updated to a game exclusive version as no extra charge... Sounded like just dlc, would've been nice if it was a steel book. Ah well I want the ghost version now...

Can i buy a season pass from PSN? im stuck with my order from shopto, and they have no update as yet on the limited edition.

In the Eurogamer new item above they confirm that you will be able to buy both expansion packs separately although it will cost more at ?19.99 each. Depends how much you want the CE Digital Content and pre-order bonuses are going to be limited to the special edition. We don't know if there will be further expansion packs beyond these two but I suspect there will be.

I assume Shopto are locking orders based on beta code being used, which is a bit of a naughty practice?

I'd imagine they should offer those existing pre-orders the chance to go for the Limited Edition (steel book) becuase this doesn't appear to be a GAME exclusive in the Uk, like the Ghost edition, and will offer every Digital item that the Ghost edition will. I'd certainly contact them or challenge use this for a reason to get a refund.

What don't know at this stage is whether any of the CE or Pre-Order content can be purchased separately (a la Borderlands 2) after launch although the IGN video seems to suggests it's intended to be limited.

I'm now in the for the full-on tat ?150 edition. Very expensive and luxury item but I've been a fan of the Bungie stuff for so long and this is the one game I'm up for the most.

EDIT - scratch that, the pre-order bonuses (Vanguard Weapon early access) appears to be a GAME exclusive in the UK on physical editions - although I assume will still be available on the digital Guardian edition.
