What would make you purchase Xbox One?

Ok so now the reveal is over, and we can say most people on here and on internet aint over the moon with the new console. But lets be fair to Microsoft and it aint a dead rubber just a flesh wound, but they could pull some creditablity back with huge knock out games. So what are these games. What would make you purchase Xbox One? Discuss.

Having Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3, No More Heroes 3 and Shenmue 3 as exclusives, would do the trick.

Games I care about and are not available on other formats. Which can be really anything, known franchises or new games popping from nowhere. When such games are available, I'll consider if DRMs and other things are too restrictive for me.

No I mean myself being threatened with extreme violence would make me purchase one, and if somebody said I had to wear shoes. Otherwise, I'll just be saying "LOL, One", like usual.

Of course, if it had an even-better-than-any-other version of Starfox 64, then I may be tempted, but that's not going to happen.

Complete removal of DRM, Kinectless option at a lower price, backwards compatibility, reestablishment of commitment to independent developers, region-free as standard, reliable hardware and a major change in Microsoft's approach.

Oh, and a decent mech game.

Being realistic about MS's software I think they need something impressive, exclusive and new. They only really have Halo, Gears and Forza in the bag as current major series these days and I'm not sure any of them are the must have system seller MS needs them to be through either over farming the series of quality decline. The Xboxs lineup is best approached in broadstrokes which unfortunately for them Sony also has covered these days.

What would make you purchase Xbox One?

I really don't think that Microsoft have any interest in selling me the Xbox 1, I'm just not who they're aiming for at the moment.

In answer to the question, at the moment it seems the most likely way Microsoft have of doing that is the way Microsoft usually do stuff like this. They could either just buy Sony and change the name of the PS4 to Xbox 1 or buy Nintendo and change the name of the their next console to Xbox 1.

Even doing it that way they appear to be in a very different space to where I want to be going with my console so irrelevant of the hardware I'm not really convinced it would get any use with Microsoft throwing the switches behind the green curtain.

Not really anything except some games that I absolutely had to play. MGS5, RR8 and Persona 5 all exclusive would do it lol. Not that that's ever going to happen.

I just have no interest. Like others I feel like it's not even aimed at me.
