She's stated the Azure servers for Australia arent going to be ready for launch so all of us here are most likely going to have to connect to Singapore servers and encounter a nice healthy dose of 200-250ms latency.

Wonderful.

Obviously not Respawns problem but for a game as high profile as this running with purely multiplayer and AI cloud features its pretty annoying for Aussie gamers to have to put up with someone thats probably going to run worse than P2P.

That's a bit crap, I thought the whole point of the tiered worldwide release was to make sure that they had enough cloud power to go around?

i hope this whole cloud AI stuff backfires and we will get a successor that features offline gameplay too.

I'm assuming they might do one in a week or two's time possibly due to the 360 version having been delayed by 2 weeks pretty much to steer peeps to the XBO version.
