I always said I would grab a Wii U for Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, now I'm not even sure I will bother.
If I'm honest I would rather grab a Vita/3DS combo than a Wii U, sad to say but I think my Nintendo love is gone.
Animal Crossing on 3DS right now has me missing my 3DS though, so I reckon I will buckle and grab one of those soon.

Got my pre-orders in for Xbone & PS4, it will be a fecking expensive Novemeber BUT been saving since January so no big deal, got enough for the bone and PS4 will pony up towards end of year.

I may just grab a PS4 and a PS+ sub though and have a strict NO GAMES policy for 1 year, see how that works out for me. More than likely it won't work out and I will buckle and buy some games. Will no doubt grab Killzone to give it another try on the next generation, possibly driveclub as well.
Xbone will be Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and if I can be arsed, Ryse (I'm really not sure about it, looks awesome visually but I bet it's average) maybe dabble in some Killer Instinct if my friends list starts populating with people playing on it.

I own a WiiU (not sure if it works. Haven't switched it on in a bit) and am defo Day1'ing a PS4.

Xbox One, we'll see. I've said no up until now but it depends on launch day, must have exclusives.

And whether or not I get a free one from work.

WiiU still has nothing I want & nothing on the horizion to make me change my mind as of yet. As for the other 2 it's the same old tired western stuff but with nicer graphics, the typical genres of racers & FPS is a total turn off for me not my interest at all. I prefer weird & unusual to get my interest, i'm sure such games will come in time but the launch lineup from both sony & ms so far is just yaaaaaawn.

Will see what stuff comes in a year or two in the meantime i'll stick to my DS/3DS

I voted for none of them. There simply isn't enough games I'm interested in on any of the systems to make me buy one.

Agree about the games, I voted for a four tentatively but can only see me getting one when there are more games out including hopefully an EDF and plus we've got past the beta testing phase so around a year or maybe two.

Suprising to see so few people want an Xbox, I know this site is hardly a good representation of the general publics opinion, but as gamers you would think the people on here would want the bigger and better selection of exclusive games, and the general opinion seems to be that the Xbox one is ahead in that department.

I know some people are still annoyed by Microsoft, but if you boycotted a peice of technology everytime the people who made it did somthing annoying then you would never buy anything.

That's what's amused me about the whole XBO having the advantage in exclusives, the number of series and studios for Sony in addition to their similar number of exclusive releases planned for games in the first 12 months would suggest Sony have the advantage. However because they haven't formally outed the games like Microsoft has many have jumped on the MS side because there's more around Day 1. That in itself would be fine if it weren't currently just Forza meeting the quality bar when people have gone hands on which means its pretty neck and neck.

As this is for planned purchases, in theory the existingly owned WiiU's shouldn't be included in the totals.

People don't count who has most exclusives. They just see games they want.

Personally, I don't care about MS exclusives enough to buy a console to play them. I've had enough Halo (which isn't launch anyway), Killer Instinct looks like ass, Ryse looks like a repetitive QTE fest and I don't play racing games so couldn't care less about Forza.

I don't want a launch PS4 either though, as there are no games for it.

Well true and if only goes by consoles exclusives at launch we'll never buy would have bought a new console other than the Snes and N64 . I'm amazing to see so many people go on about the lack of killer games at launch and yet were the ones that bought the likes of a PC Eng, Mega Drive , PS, DC at launch, where those consoles had about 1 or 2 games worth getting at best.

I think people tend to forget just how poor the domestic launches of consoles like the MD, PS, PS2, DC were. To me another than Nintendo (and those days are long gone) I don't expect an AAA must have title at launch of a brand new console . I just expect to see a game with gfx that wasn't possible on the previous generations of consoles and the likes of Battlefield 4 , Forza 5 and Killzone 4 do that quite nicely , though Forza 5 really should have a weather system in place now

Well if people dot see exclusives and just want good games. the Xbox should still win then, becuase you'll be able to play all the good looking multi format games on a better gamepad. Unless of course Sony finally manage to make a good one this time.

Quite apart from all the negative PR MS managed to generate, I think many will choose the PS4 based on the fact that it's almost a full ton cheaper, and actually more powerful. That's certainly my thinking. Plus I don't like any of Microsoft's exclusives anyway.
