There has never been a less impressive next generation launch. Almost nothing to impress over previous generation. I think Battlefield fans have a reason but no one else really? Not been monitoring terribly closely though so maybe I've missed something.

It seems that way, there is nothing that blows my mind from a graphics or a gameplay perspective. It is nice that we'll be able to buy prettier/smoother versions of games I would have bought on 360/ps3 though. It's like King Kong at the launch of 360
Although I'm pretty sure that I felt the same way last generation, the launch titles were only a resolution boost over the late gen titles that were coming out.

I think we are past the days of the killer app, after all , why would you hinder the potential market of a new IP by launching A: on a next gen machine and B: on a next gen machine that is bound to suffer hardware shortages.

On another note, did anybody try the Lego Marval demo? That's next gen right there, I'm not even kidding.
I will probably grab it now that Watchdogs aint coming.

It is a little disapointing that games are starting to get delayed but i guess one good way of looking at it is hopefully both titles will be something to look forward to early next year. With the huge glut of release at launch there was very little on the horizon after Xmas.

Cant really say its deminished the launch for me, im just really looking forward to launch day and having a new 1 maybe 2 new consoles under the telly

LEGO Marvel? Played the PS3 demo and loved it! It's on pre-order for PS4 as I'm hoping it runs in a higher res than the PS3 version which is really quite blocky.

We're all over this at work after seeing some videos. Looks mega fun! Which version to get though... assuming there's a PC version available. I know it shouldn't matter with this but it looked so good that I want the best graphics I can get!

Amazon want ?50 for it on PS4! I'll either get it on Vita (?30) or PC (?18).

You have to wonder why they're even bothering. PS4 will cost $1800 to buy in Brazil, not just obscene but also $800 more than XBO there

February sounds better and better with every post I read. Hashtag Driveclub might be out by then too. Outside of Killzone 4, it's just a load of PS3 games. Worst SCE launch evar.

id say things like Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are true next gen games as there clearly struggling on the ps3 and xbox 360. I have to agree though if you take out driveclub sonys launch line up looks barren. The xbox has Killer instinct, Ryse, Dead rising 3, Forza, and Crimson Dragon as there exclusives, at least theirs a bit of choice there.

Yep there is no doubt the Xbox One has a stronger line up initially. You can add Project Spark to that even though its only launch window and not on day one. Good that it doesn't require gold sub though being F2P.
