chagned my order to the ps4 version, stuff microsoft they should let us know the differences, i hate embargos and they clearly know the ps4 version is far superior

One of the reviews I read said thr embargo lasts for another 2 weeks, maybe its just to limit the direct comparisons till the hardware launch is closer and hype will overshadow any differences given PS4 hits the US first

Thanks, sounds pretty good from that review although might wait till after Christmas to pick it up. Definitely seems worth it to play it on Ps4 or xbox.

The draw distance is massively improved so its gonna give a better experience than on current gen so i would disagree

Ass Creed 4 is 1080p on ps4 and the video is 720p on youtube, that tells me all I need to know.

Character models and the rest aren't really pushing the hardware, more Ubi Soft just being a bunch of lazy bastards and trying to deal with 6 versions of a cross gen game.
Just wait until Assassins Creed is only on PS4/Xbox One/PC next year, bet It will look insane.

PS4 1.5 Firmware update file is apparently on Sony's servers to download now, onto a USB/HD.

May come in handy if servers get absolutely hammered on launch night, apparently this file will be the same across all regions, although worth waiting until launch just in case they change files for EU.

I'm sure it will. This latest one looks stunning on 360 anyway, clearly the PS4 version is hampered by being current gen too. Played it a few weeks ago and visually it doesn't knock your socks off.

That's what I was concerned about to be honest from the start. Especially with AC4, but with other games as well.

The jump from 360 > PS4 isn't going to be a 'wow' moment, like it was with more or less every console generation before.

I'm an AC fan, so it's going to be my launch PS4 game...but it's a pity I won't be blown away by it graphically.

I think I'll enjoy playing it on my Vita though.

AC offers a lot of value, and I think the Vita will add to this...particularly with collection quests, where you can just pick up and play a few, then put it down.
