Keep thinking about upgrading the hdd before launch rather than having to mess around at a later date but I want more details on the hdd before I buy one. Hopefully we'll find out details soon though. Hopefully.

Our 1TB drive on the on the PS3 is over 800GBs at the moment and there are loads of games not on it including blu-ray games.

With games like Killzone already being a nearly 50GB download a 500GB isn't going to last that long and Infinity Ward have said that COD also uses a 50GB scratch disk so you'll temporarily lose space when playing games too.

My PS4 pack with Watch Dogs is still up on Shopto. Anyone know what they are going to do about it yet? I still want BF4, so im hoping they will be sending me that along with Killzone. Just dont want to be charged for a game i wont have for about another six months or more. Was thinking about getting the Knack package, but games like that hold no real interest for me these days.

After checking out JP's link on IGN I found myself looking at the 2 min footage on NBA 2K14. It's not a game I'd normally be interested in but graphically it looks superb.

Thinking back I seem to remember that Visual Concepts were a team that worked on Dreamcast games for SEGA's American division back in the day.

Aye, Visual Concepts developed American sports games for Sega in leu of any games from EA Sports. All the current Visual Concept-developed series' such as the NBA2k series started life on the Dreamcast. I know nothing about American sports games, but they were largely considered to be superior to the EA Sports offerings of the time.

Just watched the play through of the single player killzone stuff the "forest level with the zip wires" and I can't wait to get a go. really likening how you can tackle the game and the zip wire robot helper looks like it should speed up gameplay in a good way.

The witcher wild hunts Is the other game I'm most looking forward too it looks amazing and it has a world bigger than skyrim to explore if they can do away with the loading times then I'm in.

Have been doing heavy research on which machine to get and killzone convinced me, I think it's gonna be a better game than titanfall as Titan fall is online only and watching the recent play through I think it could really of done with a single player campaign.

The battlefiled vehicle scramble is going to be a massive problem for Titan fall as it seems to be one or two mechs per side, but a massive amount of players all wanting that mech. I'm not convinced that watching the same big showboating events like ships crashing or buildings falling is good for a multiplayer game here or in battlefield. The thing about Hollywood style events is the first time you see them you think wow, but where gonna see these hundreds of times in multiplayer anything that takes you out of a kill streak and breaks your rhythm isn't gonna be well liked.

PS4 Second Screen Feature
Users can install PlayStation?App on to their mobile devices to use as a second screen in supported games. For example on THE PLAYROOM, a title pre-installed in all PS4 systems that requires PlayStation?Camera, users can draw pictures on their mobile device screens and flick them towards the TV. The images then appear as a 3D object within the game.

Spectate other PS4 users’ gameplay
When users’ friends upload or begin live streaming their gameplay on PS4 systems, the friends’ activities are displayed on “What’s New” of the PlayStation?App screen. When users tap on this notification, they can boot pre-installed applications, such as browsers, to spectate the uploaded gameplay. Users can also post comments on gameplay screenshots, footage and live streams.

Users can purchase game content while away from home and download it directly onto their PS4, PS3, and PS Vita systems.

Use a mobile device as a simple remote to control the PS4 system
Once installed, users can use their PlayStation?App to control their PS4 system as long as both devices have access to the same Wi-Fi access point. For example, users can switch their PS4 system to standby mode, startup their PS4 system from standby mode, and use their mobile phone as a keyboard for their PS4 system.

I realised today that the PS4 works out about ?251 here in Japan. Makes the 4 month delay a little easier to swallow, but also puts the UK price into perspective. And even more so the XBox One price.

Yen has dropped a lot (currently 145:1), 8 months ago (110:1) it would have been ?330 equivalent. It's partly why both Sony and Nintendo were able to report profits the most recent quarter. In the long term though, there's better value in the UK with rapidly discounted games.

Yen is 157 to ?1 at the moment athough admittedly that's for banks travel money is lucky to get 145-150 max

I'm waiting until February. ?330 all-in with Knack and the camera. Add in Strider another DS4 and the DS charging station and that's me done for ?400 to my door. The Mrs. wont be pleased come Valentine's day, but yer.

Thats what i thought, perfect way to break any electronic device . Would be interesting to know just how long and at what temp it took to fry it?
