Hopefully should be ok, the GT games are generally HID compliant due to the steering wheel support, you'll lose out full dual shock effects and access to the XMB though I'd imagine.

GAME are on something like "phase 4" which means they have no clue - and why does that not surprise me?!

No disrespect to either of those industry veterans but they're not really the go to guys to ask about technical specifications. If Crytek or id say they're near identical then I'll listen. In short, bull****.
When Xbox One was first announced it had lower specs than PS4, but now they're almost identicalLast edited by Brad; 24-10-2013, 12:52.

Shinji Mikami may well have been talking about things like system drivers and the development tools as there's been a few reports reports from developers of both being terrible and Sony's being really good. Maybe they've begun to sort that stuff out which puts both systems on a more even footing when it comes to development?

How have Microsoft done this? Must be The Cloud.
The PS4 still has the upper hand in terms of the amount of compute units in its GPU but it will need to use some of those resources for stuff that it's rival has dedicated hardware for.
I doubt there will be much in it when developers have a grip on these machines. I think we'll be in for some cracking games in the future.Last edited by CMcK; 24-10-2013, 13:36.
