I'm really hoping the OS/PSN store runs a lot smoother than it currently does on PS3. The store just feels so clunky and slow.

Glad im not the only one, it used to be great, nice and quick, now it almost seems like its just running off a very clever webpage. So slow and clunky i hate using it.

Yeah exactly, im sure i remember the orginal version of the PSN store was not too bad but since the overhaul its just really unpleasant to use. Fingers crossed PS4 will be silky smooth.

With both consoles Having there own dedicated resources to handle their os's, I'm sure this sort of stuff will keep running silky smooth.

Rejigged my AV setup today, along with my Harmony remote...in preparation for the PS4. Now have a lovely 'activity' entitled PS4.

I'm ready.

Is it true that the PS4 won't support the Harmony remote though? I read you needed an adapter for the PS3. Is there no PS4 DVD remote the Harmony can emulate? I haven't really seen this mentioned. Was thinking of using the PS4 as my main DVD/BLU Ray player, but without the Harmony, it wouldn't be too much fun.

PS3 and 4 uses bluetooth for their remotes, the alternative is to have HDMI sync your console to your TV, and then you can use a conventional remote (or Harmony) to control the bluray/key features.

Trophies will be marked with a new rarity value that changes depending on how many other people in the world have unlocked a trophy. I.e. If you get a game early, you can bet that quite a lot of its trophies will be marked as rare.

Ah, of course, I can do that with my Sony Blu Ray. I can even control that with the voice commands on my Samsung TV.

Looks like CD and Mp3 support is being added at a later date. Surprised that they can add the former - hopefully this'll result in a return for PS1 support eventually.
