Personally I'm not not bothered about the missing features but hearing "it'll be patched in" so often makes it sound like these consoles are incomplete and being rushed out.

Quite disapointing to read that even though the Store interface has been improved over PS3, Eurogamer are saying that its still rather clunky to use. Will be interesting to see just how clunky they mean but it is something that should be silky smooth by now.

KZ for me was never likely to be a "Game changer" in terms of Gameplay. (I prefered KZ2 over 3) but I was hoping for a solid FPS which showed the potential of the next gen. OK, I'll admit it.... Fancy graphics and lots of action. It looks like it has certainly delivered that, so I bet 7-8 out of 10 will be the standard. As I love FPS games you can add on a 1 for my personal preference, and as I'm a graphics ho another 1 for that, so it's a 9 for me.

Can't wait to try it out!

Despite wanting to stay positive about the game the ( IGN's 5.9 didn't bother me too much) Eurogamer's 4/10 hammering has made me cancel my pre-order for this.

A shame, I had high hopes seeing as the guy who designed the console was a key creative component of this.

Ah well, there's still LEGO.

Yeah shame Knack is getting really bad reviews across the board, the highest ive seen is 6.5 or so from CVG.

Maybe he's burnt out on game design. He did invent Marble madness after all so he's been doing this for a while now. Or maybe it's another case of W101 where reviewers don't see the underlying brilliance?

Anyway, whoever makes the Review thread must include "1. Knackered" in the poll options.

Thinking about it I got a ?20 Amazon gift card from work so I can always use that towards Knack and it will only cost me ?30 of "real money". Pretty sure CEX will be giving around that in cash for it.

KZ review complains the set pieces aren't spectacular enough. Clearly they want CoD with next gen visuals. Most of the complaints are about the characters and plot and of course that is why we play these games.

Exactly the reception I thought Knack would receive. It looks really basic.

Killzone getting a 7 from EG seems about right too. These are launch games after all. They're not going to be groundbreaking gameplay experiences.
