Couldn't find a thread for the game.

I'm quite liking the look of the UI, hopefully it's just as smooth in real life. It looks like the touch pad was being used for typing.
Guerrilla have also announced that they are expecting the multiplayer part of Shadowfall to be 60fps by launch. They're keeping the single player section at 30fps.Last edited by 85 78 73 81 85 69; 22-08-2013, 12:47.

The most ridiculous thing is that Knack is 30 fps, and it's designed by the same bloke who made the console. How is that possible?!
As for Knack has the development time even been mentioned for it, why do you even need 60 fps for a game like that anyway?

When I'm dropping 400 notes, me.
At launch the graphical difference between current gen and the last is going to be extremely slight, amplified by most of the games being cross-gen. If they at least locked 60fps for these new games that would at least provide a marked difference to the sub 30fps we've had in 99% of games this gen.
Not to mention the fact that these games aren't graphically pushing the system at all so the least we can really expect is some kind of optimisation. AND the fact that when we're talking Killzone and Knack, these are Sony games. Sony designed the hardware. They should at least be nailing the basics imo.
You never need 60fps GluedOnBeard. It just looks significantly better every time.

Although its more likely, as has probably always been the case, that adding more detail, physics and fidelity is more important than locking at 60fps in order to better differentiate the generations.

Also, it's not just about the games your dropping that sort of money for, when I have a PS4 I would expect it to also be able to have bigger improvements on things like media services and fluidity of online connectivity, watching that video of the UI, especially the part of being able to watch an online game taking place from the UI and being able to drop in and out of the game without any major disruptions, is, in my view - what a huge part of next generation gaming is all about and that is one of the major reasons why I am going next gen.
