Had a good go of the knack demo today. The more I played it the more pointless I found it. One attack button, 3 attack annimations with a 3 combo limit plus a jump attack. That's it. Went theough the demo a few times but there's nothing to it, no secret areas, upgrades, nothing. Just seems very pointless and to be a feature game of the console is very suspect. I hope there's more to the full game as honestly, it didn't have much going for it, even the graphics looked decidedly average for a ps3 game let alone a ps4 launch title.

I really wanted it to be good, since it's the only other thing that looks decent for the PS4 to me apart from Killzone. But it wasn't. I was really disappointed by it. Considering how much they've harped on about games looking better in person, Knack looked far better in videos from E3. Didn't look near as good as that on the demo I had. And considering how average it looked, I was genuinely surprised that the frame rate seemed really unsteady, and definitely sub 60 90% of the time. Not even sure if I saw it at 60 at all during the time I played it. Fifa was 60fps rock solid though. But tbh looks barely any different from current gen in terms of looks. Small things here and there that I would imagine would be much more obvious to football nuts (Which I am definitely not).

I was going to have another try on it today as I saw it in the Argos in the Metro Centre, but people were on it and I really couldn't be bothered waiting to have a go on a sub par game.

It sounds like the same demos running from the game lock in. If anything they'll put people off buying one.

Nothing excites me but forza 5 has swung me more towards x box, But I might get both still, I can't see prices going down much for a while, what's your guess for a ps4 price in a years time, really can't see much of a price cut, so will still probably buy both before the years out I think.

To be honest I hope the PS4 keeps up the hype and sells like mad... I'll finish the games I want to play and sell it on for hopefully a substantial profit in the Xmas madness.

Anyone know whether buying a US PS4 locks you to region 1 for blu ray movies, or will it depend on which locale you first install the mandatory update from?
