I don't think it's a bad thing to be a bit dissapointed with the scores, KZM shined in the levels that had choice. KZ4 showed glimses of "Crysis 1" like open play and strategic choice. Sadly it looks like they either lost confidence or didn't have the time to develop the mechanics further.

GG have none the less provided a solid FPS with artisitc and graphical shine at a whole new level. For that I am really happy and it will be fun to see a true next gen game and consider what possibilities are going to come further down the line.

I meant more in the fact that I wasn't expecting the voucher; it was an on the spot reward thing for good performance. If CEX are paying ?30 for next gen games cash then it hasn't really cost me anything.

My PS4 (w/Killzone) is expected to ship tomorrow - my patience around these console launches is virtually non-excistent

I tend to look forward to Polygon reviews, they've been bang on with Wii U games, but Arthur Gies seems to be an egomaniac and shameless self-promoter. Brian Crecente is annoying too, there's nothing worse than gaming press celebrities.

Launch games are always pretty middle-of-the-road, in fairness. Kameo got really average review scores, and that was a great game.

Still, I may not bother with Killzone: Shadow Fall. I'll see what the user feedback is like. It sounds like it's still a decent stopgap game.

I wasnt really expecting Killzone to be anything groundbreaking or revolutionary, it pretty much does what i was expecting. The rest of the launch games are exactlty what im expecting too. What im most interested in is details about the PS4 system itsfelf. How loud/quiet it is, how the OS works and how the online systems are. But the one thing im most interested to read all about is the Vita remote play feature. These are what im going to base my eventual purchase on.

Knack, looks like we have our first key candidate for PS Plus freebie game in a couple of months.

A shame, I had high hopes seeing as the guy who designed the console was a key creative component of this.

                      Ah well, there's still LEGO.
We all knew it wasn't going to be a system seller but I was hoping for a "Kameo" surprise as I did with the 360
But like you say there's lego marvel to consider

Really surprised they didn't relegate knack to the ps+ service as a freebie, It's looked pretty uninspiring since day one, i can understand that they where trying to be clever with the character design but no amount of cleverness hides the fact that this character is basically a poor mans Shrek with a body made of a thousands of bits of glossy ****e, add in the mundane looking game world and anarchic gameplay and theirs nothing here that surprising when the fours at review come knocking.

Plus it seems to be ?50 to ?61 (Argos wtf?) everywhere so it's not exactly a great first day impression.

Explains why it's bundled free in Japan.

I like the sound of killzone from the EG review tbh No tearing, mix of flashy set pieces/open levels + inside corridor bits with decent multiplayer! Sounds like the best non Mario launch game I'll ever have played Will check in/polygon later.

Knack will be on PS+ or ?17.99 in about a month

I guess like all reviews they are all just opinions, not that im saying any of these games are groundbreaking or anything but even so. Plus im not as trusting in paid review sites, i value much more what people say in these forums.
