Unless there's someway of fooling the 2DS you couldn't play Hotel Dusk on it as some of the actions require you to close the system which without a hinge the 2DS can't do.

You just flick the sleep switch on then off again on the 2ds, this performs exactly the same action as closing the hinge on the 3ds, this has already been covered. Every game works fine, i expect.

Sorry if this has been posted already, but apparently the 2DS actually uses one single screen divided by the case Talk that is is the same as the original 3DS screens appear to be incorrect.

            Like the look of these

Two new Nintendo 2DS colours will be available to buy in the UK from 7th November, named Transparent Red and Transparent Blue.

The colouring ties in with the upcoming Pok?mon Omega Ruby and Pok?mon Alpha Sapphire remakes for 3DS which launch on 28th November. Bundles featuring each game with the respective 2DS design will also be available from that date.

Each bundle will include a digital copy of the game pre-installed on a 4GB memory card.

Damn you Nintendo releasing clear console variants my weakness for clear colours, if they were not locked to a useless region i'd be buying them but having them only play UK games is a pretty much huge no.

Have Nintendo even released a clear handheld since... the original GBA?

No i don't think they have, the SP never got one & neither did the DS family. Wow it has been a long time lol.

I really liked the GBC and GBA clear options (and the NGPC one too) but some how I always ended up with the solid purple ones.

Naval camo FTW on the Neo Geo.

They don't make enough transparent consoles any more, it's true. I would definitely buy a New 3DS like that! I'd prefer it to be just regular transparent like the GB Pocket though, rather than coloured transparent.

Still got a transparent Pocket knocking around somewhere, and a 'milky blue' OG GBA.

I had the option of either the clear one or the silvery blue one and went with the latter. No regrets, it looked ace, especially when I was tripping one time.

Why did it have to be a 2DS?

Arctic blue was my first and only GBA. Still not getting a 2DS though.
