I've decided I'm just gonna play the free titles. I might upgrade my PS+ version of Driveclub to the full version depending on how good it is.

For some reason I just can't let go of getting the system on Day 1 though....I guess ?335 isn't too much of an outlay compared to some on here!

i reckon Ryse will be this generations Heavenly Sword looks amazing plays like a poor mans god of war, its amazing what lack of choice dose to peoples tastes

I'm a little bit wary of picking stuff up to early reviews are a long way off and we could end up with some real stinkers, The rate at which price drops happen too are holding me back a bit too. For Example Splinter cell Blacklist, reviewed well but seems to have sold less than 400,000 units which is seen as a fail for the devs. its not even been out a month and its sub ?25 in a lot of places.

So yeah I'm gonna hold back and see what January brings, i sure would be pissed off if my ?500 worth of games is slashed to half price due to poor reviews and poor sales.

All games get heavily discounted after a short while nowadays. It's not like it isn't going to happen with COD 400.

Everyone is going to spend "Day One" talking about Day One, instead of actually playing anything.

Games like GOD Of War don't really come for console launches , its not like GOW launched with the PS2 . To me RISE will be to what Star Wars RS II was on the Cube, far from the best example of the genre on the system, far better examples on older systems , but goes some way to showing off what the system can do and will be mindless fun.

My Dad is getting a US machine, so I'm going to play on that. I'm not buying any games for it though, so that's why I'll just have Hashtag Driveclub and Resogun to play.

Hashtag Driveclub is the most uncool name for any game ever. The first time I saw that I just thought UGH u srs Sony.

It's because it's so social you see. Except it doesn't have 2 player. Classic.
