Well I bit the bullet this morning and pre-ordered an Xbox One. Will probably pick up Lego: Marvel for it but other than that not much is of interest to me, I'm just going to use it as a blu-ray player having never owned one before, now comes the month of buying up Disney Blu-rays in slipcases like a mad woman.

yes, Dead Rising 3 might be worth a look too even though it's just 720p. if this is enough to convince me to buy at release? not very likely.
Ryse might be a surprise game or a total disappointment. we will see.

I probably opted for an Xbox One for continuity, i.e. I got an Xbox 360 because it's the only console my gamer friends have, I made a couple of 'friends' playing Portal 2 co-op and SSF4:AE and also I have a Gamerscore/record of everything I've ever played (outside of Nintendo).
