I crumbled and ordered NFS rivals a few weeks ago (XBO). Massive fan of Hot Pursuit but didn't like Most Wanted at all so hoping this follows HP more. From the videos I've seen it looks like a carbon copy with bells and whistles?

Rivals looks decent. Looks like Forza Horizon with better integration of single and multi but with sucky handling. Bored of the whole Burnout thing now.

Im really hoping Rivals turns out to be decent, slighly concerened there not been much attention paid to it in the last few weeks, i almost forgot it was a launch game. But if its even half as good as Forza Horizon then that would be a top effort. God i cannot wait for Forza Horizon 2.

Not really day one related, but since the great Allards purge, is there any benefit shopping around for cheaper currency for MS stores? Does anywhere offer ?50 of credit for ?45, say? Just realised that if I want Crimson Dragon and Killer Instinct, I'd better top up...

PS4 with Killzone and BF4 for me

Same here, but now starting to wonder if I should also get AC4 & NFS Rivals....

Would be nice with some variation!

I cancelled BF4 and added AC4 to my order...Killzone, Need for Speed and AC4 has me covered til next year!

It really is a tough choice for PS4 whether to get BF4 or Killzone. Although I do feel even though they are both FPS they are two very unique experiences.

Unique? Aren't they sort of just like the other Battlefield and Killzone games?

I don't think I'm going to go Day 1 any more I really wanted to but the software just isn't there for me. Kinda sad as there won't be another launch for a long long time.

I meant in comparison to each other rather than their predecessors. I haven't played Killzone properly before really and the last Battlefield I played a lot was 2 so they should be pretty new to me either way

There isn't a great deal of software but surely something is there for everyone, depends on how much you play games I guess and how many current ten titles you have got left. For me Killer Instinct and Resogun alone (especially War Thunder) is a reason to pick up the Xbox and Playstation respectively.

Simply try and find a means to play Resogun for a few hours then you'll have no need to feel jealous anymore.

OK I've left it late but I want a PS4. Local indie says no for day one. Are there any options left to pick one up on launch day?

Ebay? Might be a bit pricey though. I don't think this helps, http://www.stockinformer.co.uk/check...-playstation-4 but I believe getting a bundle might be needed.
