Didn't they stop pre-orders because they wanted consoles to actually be on shelves come day one?
I wanted to go to a midnight launch rather then wait for the postman... but I doubt GAME would let me change my pre-order from website to store.Comment

The Japanese PS4 works out about ?261 with Knack for free, though. More appealing that an import machine + shipping and potential customs charges.
Frustrating though. I have my preorder voucher with Edion right in front of me, but I'll still be a good 3 months behind everybody else here.Comment

Importing is always more expensive
If you wanted it badly enough you'd be willing to pay for it I guess! I had considered a US PS4 myself, but by the time it got to me I'd have the Xbox One in a few days so I figured I'd just get the UK one with warranty and wait for the Xbox One first.

It's already higher than a PS4 because they bundle Kinect. I don't mean that as a fanboy dig or anything, just something to consider - it'd probably work out twice the price of grabbing a PS4 in Japan, and there won't be any Asian release games until Microsoft get around to releasing the thing in Asia.Comment

PS4 with Killzone, BF4, LegoM, NFSR, AC4, Vertical stand, Minecr, Contrast, Resogun, 3yrs PSN+, BF4 Premium sub, CoDG, CoDG Season pass, Knack, all the f2p stuff like DCU, WarThun, Warfr and cross buy updates like Flower, Escape Plan
And Zelda Link Between Worlds and Mario 3D World
which after todays trades will leave me just ?20 to pay and I still have Ghosts U to trade before they hit. In effect, all finally covered with no cash outlay. Phew, thank.god there's no more machines due for the next 5 yearsComment
