For Netflix, I don't think that's Microsoft's fault. Netflix on TVs is often the same, locked into one output rate.

And on all of these streaming services, if the content was interlaced - which is the way for TV shows up until 24p mastering was the norm - it's often badly deinterlaced (not using pulldown detection) by the content provider, from the master tapes provided by the studio. In other words it's bungled before it even reaches you. Nobody watches these services for the picture quality, admittedly.

And yet it works fine on the 360, Windows 8 app and WiiU, I agree that Netflix isnt perfect , and the those devices I just mentioned there probably is still a small amount of judder and interlacing etc, that's just the nature of streaming to basically a 'flash' player. However on the One Netflix (and as far as I have been told Lovefilm) are practically unwatchable, we are talking massive screen judder here.

And I want to use Netflix on my One. Even the PS4 doesn't have these issues, and that not even supposed to be a 'media' box, and yet it seems to be doing a better job of it.

PS I wouldn't watch a film on Netflix, but for TV shows its perfectly fine. The WIndows 8 app for example with superHD support is actually not far off the 'real' thing.

We don't like the fact that you stay healthy and ride a bike to work each day thus also helping the environment, but we do like the fact you can headshot with a needler from 1200 yards 10 times in a row.

Interesting, I didn't know it was any different. So now we have Netflix issues summed with Xbox One issues.

I like Netflix as a replacement for television channels too. I'm not surprised that the PS4 does a better job of it - Sony understand video. Despite having some amazing video talent there, Microsoft are obviously still a computer company.

All this stuff is much more high profile this time, the 360 when faced with PAL Dvds would gradually go out of sync when it was forced into a 60hz mode.

Weird. Netflix looks great on my One. I've not noticed any problems. I use the US Netflix (and occassionally the UK Netflix). I'm experienced with the 360 version too. I'll check it out.

I would hazard a guess at 6 months, if it's longer then MS have locked it down big time.
Popcap have Garden Warfare 2 out Feb 2014 so I would imagine they would do some cross promotion.

There was an article stating they have already filed a claim in China for Peggle 2 on the PS4 I think so maybe not as long as you would think.

Not the most pressing issue, but the build quality of this thing is absolute crap. I tried to clean fingerprints off the gloss black area of the review unit I was sent, with a microfiber cloth. BIG mistake - covered in scratches now that are easily visible under just a bit of light.

Why are they obsessed with that finish? What is the point of making a console that you can't TOUCH part of?

Exactly the same with the PS4... but worse sort of, because you actually have to touch the glossy part on that to replace the hard drive. It slides off and the drive is under it.

With it being the only retail game out at launch that uses Kinect I'd of expected Microsoft to have been a bit more keen on it not being a Advertisement for everything wrong with Kinect on the 360.

Lol, I honestly cannot believe they would even let this utter rubbish get released on their flagship new console. There must be some right Muppets that work at Microsoft to not realize people will associate this with Kinect being crap from now on.
