For once, I agree with TA. No support for a 18-year-old system? So what? If you absolutely HAVE TO PLAY Playstation 1 games from the disc, the solution is quite simple: buy a PSX/PS2/PS3, they're all quite a bit cheaper than a PS4. Better yet, get an emulator for free for your PC and play your games on that.

Don't care about music but not being able to stream video is a big loss...especially letting us know this late in the day. Thats is literally all my ps3 was used for for several years.

Hopefully enough moans from people get it added later.

I really like this Nintendo style stance. But them I am buying the PS4 to play games. I also never listen to music at home. I can see why people are slightly bothered, but Sony have to make some tough calls if they are to stick around in business. It will be a sad day if they ever decided to call it quits and do like Panasonic.

Agree with this. I have other devices that do it great, so it's more 'disappointing' rather than game changing, but I can't believe it's not in there. I'll be one of the moans to get it back.

I don't think it's a Nintendo-style 'it's about the games' stance at all. It's to push people to subscribe to Sony's Music Unlimited service.
