It's strange that 3D BD isn't supported given that (I think) it is supported on the PS3. Here's hoping that the launch firmware is just a bit lacking and that other basic features will be patched in at a later date.

The news that the PS4 does indeed physically support CDs is great news. Maybe we'll see PS1 support eventually?

It is supported on PS3 yes. 3D Blu Ray and audio cds.

Hey its not me discontinuing it, but its obviously to much of a niche product for them to support it at launch, I'm sure like every bloody other thing the ps4 doesn't do if enough kick up a fuss it will be patched in.
