f it's such a big deal, then the best solution is to boycott the product, not demand the artist to change it so it pleases everybody.

If they didn't want people to talk, comment and criticise, then they could've just released the game having never shown it off beforehand. They clearly don't want to do that, though. They want publicity, and that can be either good or bad. It's how PR works.

In this video feature, the lead designers explain the new navigation controls, the renewed emphasis on stealth, and what they're pulling from Assassin's Creed 1.
Video in link above which is well worth a watch. They explain pretty well everything that has been wrong with the series since the start and what they are doing to fix it. I've always loved the concept of AC but they've never got it right, but this looks very promising.
Main points that I picked up:
- Gone back to AC1 investigations, making assassinations a big focus in the game again (finally!) but with more depth to gameplay to make it less repetitive
- Movement fixed so you no longer suddenly 'snap' onto a building and start climbing. This has been resolved by a change to controls
- Stealth has been completely redeveloped so it actually works, actually has a crouch button
- Combat is seen as a fail state, though not actually failing a mission it has been designed to be very difficult with the odds stacked heavily against you
- Failed objectives are no longer game over, the game will give you a slightly different objective to continue. For example, a eavesdrop mission can turn into a chase if you are detected
Plus coop, obviously. Sounds like they've learnt a lot, looking forward to this.

Well given that they are doing the closed betas for the game at the moment, something that happened 2 weeks before Watchdogs was launched, I'd say they are probably doing better this time round.
They've pushed it back to the same release date as the 360/Ps3 game, which makes sense really. Especially given the sheer volume of games that are out in sep/oct/november

Seems sensible to give Unity more love to get it right, but aren't Ubisoft shooting themselves in the foot?
AC Unity: 11th November
AC Rogue: 11th November
The Crew: November 11th
Far Cry 4: November 18th
That's a ridiculous release schedule, there is no way I'll be done with Unity before FC4 comes out and there's now no way I'll even give The Crew a chance. That's four open world games in a week from one publisher. FOUR!

I'm gonna flip out at the next Tomb Raider / Mirrors Edge game if they don't have a strong male lead. I also want a game where I play as a strong transgender role model to keep another percentage happy.
I understand equality but if you don't like something as it is, find something you do like. There has been plenty of games with strong female leads. I genuinely just think people like having something to moan about and want to start a movement every 5 minutes to give themselves something to feel good about....*cough* Ice bucket Challenge....Last edited by Pezley; 29-08-2014, 13:35.

So the PS4 version has been capped at 900p/30fps to "avoid debates and stuff" on which console version is best. Needless to say, this has kicked off many debates!
